Comment left May 20, 2008: "Oh my gosh. It's so good to see other people thinking the same way I do. My name is Meagan - pronounced MEEEgan. My mother said that she chose MEEEgan as opposed to MAYgan because MAYgan sounded more "weak" and MEEEgan more "strong and aggressive". And if there is anything in a name, I am definitely more on the articulate, opinionated side ;) I can meet someone and say "Hi, my name is MEEEgan." And they'll say "nice to meet you MAYgan." It's like people just don't care to listen!! I think I've corrected people so much in my life, that I'm just used to it now. But it's entertaining. If I think people are kinda slow in the head, I'll let them call me MAYgan. But other than that, constantly correcting people makes me stick in their mind -- which I like. I personally love my name the way it is spelled, it is unique, and I think its more interesting.
