User Comments about the name Kya
Comment left Dec 21, 2008: "We just named our son Kaiyah Wesley. We picked it before we knew the gender of our child because we liked the meaning Kya- "diamond in the sky". We feel that it's a unisex name depending on the middle name. We love it and it fits him perfectly." (Report as inappropriate)

We feel that it is actually a unisex name so we will use it either way. We think it is beautiful and love every meaning associated with it. We will call him or her Kai for short." Comment left Dec 10, 2007: "My best friend's name is Kyah, it often gets mispronounced but as long as you continue correcting people who mispronounce your name, slowly knowledge grows. I think it's a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning behind it." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Oct 07, 2007: "I spell my name Kyah, pronounce the same way. I'm 15, and in school teachers have pronounced it wrong quite a lot. I don't understand it either. An alternate spelling is using Latin letters. I do this in my Latin class. It's Caea." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Aug 16, 2007: "We actually made up this name for our daughter. It's an acronym. So we were a bit disappointed to hear at our pediatrician's that there were two other Kya's in their list of patients. But the majority of the people we meet absolutely love the name and find it unique. It's pronounced Ky-ah. Some people think it's pronounced Kia like the car. I just don't get it! If you take the "A" away from Kya, it's Ky. And that's easy to say..." (Report as inappropriate)
