I had never heard of it before and like stated above, there are many different meanings in many different languages. Im having my first child in January 09 and have been a Bob Marley fan since the moment I heard him for the first time, Kaya is the perfect name (if I have girl!) :) Its perfect because my parnter was named for an ACDC album so it runs in the family! We as parents get excited because I think it tells us of a new generation of children whose parents were thinking the same thing. We liked the fact that the name means something in so many languages.
