Comment left Nov 10, 2008: "My name is Callie Cathleen and I was born in 1966. My mother was reading a book that had a Calico cat named Callie in it. I used to be upset when I was younger because I could never find a "toothbrush" or "key chain" with my name on it. Through the years, I have found out there are quite a few cats and dogs named Callie. I do not know if I should be insulted or not!! Also, I get called Kelly quite a bit. The funniest thing I have heard is that I told someone my name, and they thought my name was Kelly and I had an accent. People always tell us what a beautiful name it is, and although it's certainly becoming more popular I've only met a few children named Callie.
