User Comments about the name Kaiden
Comment left Oct 16, 2008: "Okay everyone, my family's last name is Kaiden. It's pronounced KAYDEN, like "maiden with a K". People do frequently pronounce it KIDEN (rhymes with BIDEN), but AID is pronounced MAID, RAID, AFRAID, etc, so it seems fairly simple to me. I'm pleased to hear that it's being used as a first name now." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Aug 16, 2008: "The love of my life was born on 08-08-08 I named him Kaiden(the fighter). There are a lot of "Ks" in my family and I also fell in awe with the name being gthat I tried for years to conceive and when I could have really cared less it came to be for me. I knew I would have to fight to have a happy, healthy, full term pregnancy and my little one would have to fight also. By the grace of God - we are both survivors and fighters for life!" Comment left Aug 15, 2008: "My son was born in Nov 1997. We couldn't find a boys name to agree on; combined Aidan with a "K" and my husband spelled the name wrong on the birth certificate= Kaiden. We love it and have met LOTs of kids with that name since. Both boys and girls and spelled many different ways." (Report as inappropriate)

Comment left Jun 14, 2008: "My daughter's name is Kaiden. She was born in 2006. I knew it was a traditionally a boys name but I wanted her name be unique to her...That didn't work. I have never met so many Kaiden, Jayden, Aiden, Hayden, in all my life. I even met a little boy named Xyden." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Jun 06, 2008: "My husband and I just found we are havng a son. We have loved the name kaiden for weeks (after finding similar names in a baby book) and are so pleased we get to use it! I just looked at this site by chance, the meaning "fighter" is perfect and very speacial to us as he is one surviving twin." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 29, 2008: "I've got a son named Kaiden as it was the ONLY name my husband and I could agree on. Since he was born I've heard of lots of other Kaiden's, but they've been spelled differently. My Kaiden was the only baby with the name that was spelled K-A-I-D-E-N in our hospital for the whole year 2007. The meaning of the name fits "fighter" him well too as he was born with bilateral clubfoot and he's spent more than 3/4 of his life in plaster casts up to his thighs and braces." Comment left May 28, 2008: "What a neat site. My son is also Kaiden. He was born August 1996, and like alot of other people we thought it was totally unique. My husband wanted Kae, but me being catholic didn't think the name of the first murderer in the bible would sit to well with our priest. A friend of mine adult friend was called Kaide and I thought it was pretty close to Kane so we thought we found the perfect unique name, the "N" at the end just seemed to finish it off nicely. I haven't heard any other Kaiden's older than my son so I not sure if I was unique bck then or not" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 28, 2008: "My 2 year old son's name is Kaiden. I actuallly had not ever heard the name before, but since then it seems like the name is everywhere. I actually got the name from a baby book 'Caden' but just decided to change the spelling to be unique." (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 21, 2008: "My 9 month old boy is named Kaiden. Everyone we meet just loves the name. We live in Canada I have not met anyone as of yet with the same name" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 20, 2008: "We named our son Kaiden also. (06-06-06 6:28 am) It seems I'm like eaveryone else I thought I was being original =) I added the K becuase I liked the name Adian but like 4 couples in my lamoze class were using the same name. I had no idea Kaiden was so popular!" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left May 13, 2008: "do you pronounce kaiden as kayden? anyone can help?" (Report as inappropriate)
Comment left Apr 28, 2008: "My wife and I named our son Kaiden as we both loved the name. When our doctor saw the name he asked if we purposefully named him Kaiden as it was an anagram of our surname. Well to say we were shocked is an understatement we didnýt even make the connection. Our surname is Adkin so the only letter missing in our sons name is the "E" Very coincidental. He is 3 now and loves his name as does everyone who hears it." (Report as inappropriate)
